    Default Busted for Lead

Our sister publication, Coastal Contractor, tells a tale of contractor woe. Moral: Keep your RRP certification up to date, and be sure you have certified personnel on the job when the EPA shows up.

My question is, what was the age of the house and was it required to have an RRP cert. on the job if it wasn't in the targeted age group of housing stock. That info is not mentioned. If the house was post 78, the EPA should not be able to have it both ways.
I stay the hell away from pre-78 homes to avoid the RRP issue altogether. Do I still need the cert just to work; is this a required back door national license needed to work anywhere?
